Traffic sign - Max weight/ height / width [ Japan driving ]

This is the 6th time about traffic sings and marking on the road.

Though these signs do not matter to drivers who use general rental car,
nice to have this knowledge.

[ Maximum weight ]Good

I think no case that you drive a large truck.

If you drive it, No entry over 5.5 ton (GVM)

*Capacity is changing depend on the road

[ Maximum height ]Good

No entry over 3.3 meter height

I think rare cases that you drive a higher vehicles. I would like you to take care when you drive a wagon that can ride many people ( about 10 people).

That cars height is over 2 meter. And, some under passes are lower 2 meter.

[ Maximum width ]Good

No entry over 2.2 meter width. There are some narrow roads in Japan.

And, if you drive a wagon or camping car based light truck, please take care width. This sign is set in local road or city road. So, you can see sometimes it.

[ No entry carrying dangerous goods ]Good

No entry vehicles carrying dangerous goods (ex. fuel, explosive materials, etc.)

It is not mandatory for you ( all tourist). So no need to keep in your mind.

 *危険物 = dangerous things
