Traffic sign - No entry sign [ Japan driving ]

Japan have many traffic sings and marking on the road.

If you do not know their signs, you could not have enjoyable drive in Japan.
And more, you may be caught by the police( should pay some fine) or have an traffic accident.

[ No entry signs for vehicles ] Mandatory

The following signs are prohibited to entry the road.

There are many signs everywhere. And, you should take care these sings in you driving.  

*通行止(Japanese)= No entry


Their followings sings (vehicle's illustration described) are for designated vehicle

No entry = all passenger car, all trucks, all buses, motorcycles, motorcycles with tandem, small vehicle (farmer tractors, etc.), bicycles,

You can see sometimes on the road.

And, their signs

There are many narrow roads in Japan. Especially in the old city public road.
So, you may be not able to catch theirs signs because they are hidden in buildings, some utility poles, big trees, pedestrians, walls, and etc.
Please take care when you drive in Japan.
