Traffic sign - Exclusive/ Priority designated lane [ Japan driving ]

This is the 13th time about Japan traffic sings and marking on the road.

This time is about designated lane for each vehicles.

[ Designated exclusive lane for Motorcycles and small vehicles ] Better

Only run motorcycles and small vehicles( like small farmer, etc.) 

Except for bicycles, cars, big vehicles. You can drive that lane when you ride their vehicles.

*二輪 = bicycles
*軽車両 = small vehicles

[ Designated exclusive lane sign for each vehicles ]Mandatory

Their following sings are the designated signs of exclusive lane for each vehicles.
You could not drive that lane when you drive another type of vehicles.



*専用 = exclusive
*路線バス = public bus
*自二輪 = motorcycle

[Note] You cannot drive a exclusive lane by another type vehicles.
If you drive the exclusive lane, you may be caught by the police (if police are there) and pay some fine. Please keep in your mind.

[ Priority lane sign for each vehicles ]Better

Their following sings are designated priority lane sings for each vehicles.
Change depends on the road.


*優先=priority

[Note]
You may can see on the city road. You should yield to the designated priority vehicles (i.e. you should change to the another lane when you drive another type vehicles.)
You may can see that many Japanese truck drivers run the another lane except for priority, this is a violation of the traffic laws,,,,,,, please keep careful to drive your car!
